I was visiting with Gary Halbert regarding this and he claims that his direct “snail” mail campaigns have never been more effective.

I was wondering why the “test” comment and guess it’s partly because half the membership is not contributing anything!
Sorry about that, but I don’t usually have much to say.
I had tried the post card idea a long time ago in a market far, far away. It worked virally, though viral marketing hadn’t been invented then. Today it’s so different from email etc that I’m sure it will still be effective.

We used a photo lab to print copies of the post card, with different themes every time but all had “activity” pictures of some sales execs with clients. The message at the back was screen printed.

Over a year the results were obvious even to our most sceptical colleagues.
